Mykola Hlushchenko (1901 - 1977) - Ukrainian artist, a Soviet spy. Born in Novomoskovsk Ekaterinoslav province (now Dnipropetrovsk region). The desire to draw the young man was transferred to the grandfather, great-grandfather, who enthusiastically wrote Zaporozhye freemen and Cossacks. I became interested in painting the future artist in the Commercial School. His paintings captured Repin, Vasilkovskaja, other well-known painters. Mykola Hlushchenko became a phenomenon in Ukrainian history. And not only because of his extraordinary artistic talent.
